By signing below as a student-athlete, you hereby acknowledge and agree to abide by Heidelberg University’s NIL policies made pursuant to Ohio Executive Order 2021-10- D, as it pertains to your future participation in any NIL activities for which you will be receiving compensation. In addition, as a student-athlete, you hereby acknowledge and agree that Heidelberg University and the Ohio Athletic Conference, under Ohio’s right of publicity law, have the right and ability to use your name, image, and likeness for educational purposes or to promote Heidelberg University, the Ohio Athletic Conference, and their educational or institutional objectives without providing you with compensation. Your signature below shall be deemed to be a release of any claim against Heidelberg University and the Ohio Athletic Conference for the use of your name, image, or likeness for those purposes, and a waiver by you of any claim for compensation for that use by Heidelberg University and the Ohio Athletic Conference. Failure to sign this document will preclude your participation on a Heidelberg University Varsity Team.
